PC won't boot after lastest Windows 10 update

Hi,

Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.

I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?

    Thanks JJ. Unfortunately, I couldn't find instructions on how to do a hard boot on my Lenovo PC model. However I did find other hard boot suggestions, but none of these worked either. 

    I think the PC is done for :-(

    Sorry.   not familiar with the Lenovo, my last was an HP. And before that a Dell,   before that an IBM clone.  I guess we can thank Microsoft, eh?

    Thanks Felix. Unfortunately this did not work either … assuming I did it right. See below steps.

    1. Restored the default BIOS settings
    2. Removed the flash drive with the Windows 10 installation media
    3. Reboot
    4. Go back to the BIOS settings and removed every device from the Boot Sequence
    5. Save and reboot
    6. Message received after the manufacturer's (Lenovo) logo screen:
      • Error 1962: No operating system found. Boot sequence will automatically repeat.
    7. Retried all of the above steps, with HD in the boot sequence on its own, nothing. Just the logo screen
    8. Retried all of the above steps, with the USB flash drive in the boot sequence on its own, nothing. Just the logo screen.

    Something tells me I'm not going to win this battle :-(

    Anyone else still stuck with this? @bruno_568, have you found a fix for this?

    If you check my reply above to Abdullahkhan13231. Do not change any Boot Mode or any other settings or try to boot with a USB flash drive. I tried all of this before wouldn't work for me. As mentioned I stumbled upon this by Trial and Error. Disable the Boot Sequence completely for all HD and DVD leave all the other settings as it was and reboot. It worked for me so you maybe lucky also. This fault is mostly people who upgraded from either W7- W8. at that time most were using BIOS and MBR so it could be a conflict with BIOS and UEFI but I am not positive of it.

    Most pc's,  which I used to have, have a hard boot option,  which is sort of what I do with the laptop, and btw I have had to do it a couple of times.  Check your owner's manual. Or borrow someone else's pc and go to microsoft  tech support. Its been so long since I used a pc I don't remember the procedure anymore.  If that doesn't work and you can't get into safe mode the only option is to take it in.
