PC won't boot after lastest Windows 10 update

How did to disable boot order? i can only remove boot devices but i dont think i have any option that allows me to completely disable it.. could you kindly elaborate? 

Go to set up or BIOS at start up by pressing the DEL button on yours it could be Alt + Del just read the screen at the boot up of the computer. Under Boot Priority you will See C: as the First Boot Up Drive and if you have more HD's they will be 2,3 and so on Disable ALL of them and leave the DVD if you wish. Then save your changes and Reboot.

Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.

I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?

Hi I had the same problem and I tried all the advice at stated below with no susses. Then I tried Disabling Boot  Order in BIOS. Both hard drives I have in my Computer and gave it a go, It booted up like a Charm and works good now. So no boot order any more but still have UEFI settings enabled. I also noticed that it had added a Folder (Windows Old)

IMPORTANT: you did not loose your files, they're on your HDD/SDD.

Was your machine outdated for a long time? I had this problem and could not solve it. Your PC is not bricked - W10 can't boot properly. Your files are all intact - you can either copy them with a Linux (Xubuntu is the one I use) live memory stick or reinstall W10.

1. Xubuntu Live - you'll find info on how to do the live boot online. Do not install! Choose "try without installing". All you have to do is connect an external HDD and copy the files. If you have any problems mounting the internal HDD, send a message - I can't leave home anyway!
2. This might be the best for most people: Do a recovery. I'll search a guide and post here. You must choose "keep my files and documents".https://www.lifewire.com/reset-this-pc-2626216

The best practice is to use (1) for a backup and then do (2).

Please, read carefully the instructions and remember that you must choose the correct option otherwise you'll loose your files.

Daniel, your machine is probably not bricked. "Bricked" means it does not move, does not make a noise and no LEDs turn on. If it turns on, it's not bricked. I've been installing windows since 3.1 (yep, I'm that old) and never saw a single machine get bricked. I'll keep an eye out for any questions!

Would this work for me. I've already went through the media creation tool and the recovery drive to try to boot my machine and they all failed. I'm out of tricks in my bag. Anyone got anymore? Yes but I used the pause update button they finally gave us and

then I clicked the 'advanced pause updates' button and scheduled two weeks into the future before it would update again and got up Wednesday morning and my machine was running and had tried to update overnight anyway. It's really hosed up now. I guess those 'pause updates' buttons don't really work. There're only temporary. Windows overrides them.
