It works on my Xbox, but post Windows 10 1803 build does not work. Demo still works. My next step is to try it on another PC, with AMD card, but same Windows version.
Forza Horizon 4 won't launch
It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.
From the event viewer:
The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

2019-12-15T10:18:49+00:00 Literally the same issue, funny enough is, is that it worked fine when I was playing the Free version through game pass, but as soon as I upgraded to ultimate I started getting the Hang Type: Activation error. I kinda feel conned and ripped off, should have just stayed with the free version, now I can't play neither of the versions and I wasted money as well on a product that doesn't work. :D
But seriously though, either Microsoft should fix their own Ecosystem, and make sure this shit works before forcing everyone to use their shitty store, and their shitty UWP OR just release it on steam, so we can actually play the game. ;l
Sadly I doubt this will be fixed, I contacted support but don't think they'll be able to do much since people have been having this issue since the Lego expansion and of course they still do even now, so I might just as well go for that refund, if that doesn't somehow get a Hangtype: Activation error

2019-12-15T20:00:24+00:00 It's disappointing because I do enjoy the game when it runs. Hopefully the devs will get some visibility on the issue and the resources they need to fix it.

2019-12-15T23:17:26+00:00 Do you by any chance have two copies of the game in your library? One being a Xbox Game Pass version?
Because I contacted Microsoft technical support, and they insist it's a license issue on their end regarding the two copies of the game, my account has been forwarded to a back-end team to be looked at.
Main reason they suspect this is because whenever I install the Ultimate edition, it's the Game Pass standard edition that will show as installed, and because that one doesn't allow any of the DLC to run, we get the Hang Type: Activation because the licenses don't match up. Who knows.
