It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

Well I'm tired of waiting so I'm installing a cracked version of it, not really interested in the online part to it any way and I have bought it so I'll play the cracked version and maybe one day they will fix this issue whatever it is and I'll revert to the official version again maybe

Besides the support is excellent for the other version of it, it must be a registry issue afaik but I can't be bothered to keep messing. I might know what the issue actually is being as I installed the cracked version, I am going to now test my theory. Results to follow....

So it didn't work :/ Because I'm using my Microsoft account as Administrator I though it could have been an issue because the name showing has a space between my first and last name, cracked version refused to do anything but as soon as I went onto the Administrator account the name for that is Administrator so just one word I was able to install the cracked version and load it up no problem. So one part of the problem is I was not using the Administrator account the real one and thinking my Microsoft Administrator account would work it didn't secondly with the cracked version you need to install some bat file to install everything properly so it probably bypasses registry altogether because everything is saved to C:\GAMES\Forza Horizon 4\

It's late and right now I really need sleep but I have more ideas and will check properly later when I wake up, I am hoping to crack whatever the stupid issue is
