Hi Marc, just got done with the repair and the game still won't start.
Edit: Windows prompted me to update this morning. I will keep you updated when I get home tonight.

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.
Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.
Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.
Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Ok, I'll pay attention
I'm sad to report that it still crashes at the splash screen. Do you have any other fixes to try?
Check that Windows and the Microsoft Store are up to date.
Done, looks like they're both up to date.
