Forza Horizon 4 won't launch

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.

Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

    Lol you and me both, I miss it also and I was just about to find my first barn so yes I was p!ssed about it but still. I am terrible at it but doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it because I really do like the game. At least I have other games to keep me occupied for now lol

    I'm anxiously checking every day for a patch lol. I miss playing forza already but im happy they're working on a fix....just wish it happened before it blew up like it did

    I am a little more understanding now, seems it's not only Forza that has the loading problem. My brother has said it's happening with a few other games and ironically they are all driving games lol. I think they assumed because Xbox is made by Microsoft it would be the same kind of programming that was needed but have found out they are completely different setups

    I have just had a simular message from him too,he says they know about it and the team are working on a fix , asked for us to be patient and they will release a note on there support page when they have a patch.
