Ha yeah and ive had 2 emails from them how i rate the response from them. Makes ya laugh. i havent had time to respond to them yet,as they havent had time to do something.

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.
Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.
Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.
Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.
Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

2020-02-29T21:10:48+00:00 I am having the same issue. Wasn't able to play since around Aug. 2019 due to the "activation hang" problem, then it started working around mid Feb...only to go out again 2 days later like others on this thread.
Have tried the demo trick but no go for me.
I had read somewhere that it might be due to the game being on a different drive than my C drive, so tried moving the game onto the C drive with no success.
FH3, and FM7 are both working fine.
Looking forward to finally being able to play this game again! And thank you to the OP for the detailed timeline! :)
