Forza Horizon 4 won't launch

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.

Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

That seems to be all we can do.ive been into hundreds of folders and files .i think it is a file where it is installed it appears twice in one folder but it wont let me delete one of them. Im not going to mess up my pc for the sake of one game. It is a great game though! WAS!

I'm guessing it must be a registering issue, I'm pretty sure the cracked version bypasses registering hence it can't go online

Same, but I don't know if they'll ever get to the bottom of it, this doesn't really look much like a priority issue for them.

Frankly, I don’t get the feeling that anyone on either side really understands what’s happening. I’m going to keep updating the issue with any occurrences I run into so that MS/Forza can get to the bottom of it.

Hi got this yesterday from forza i tried it and ...yep...didnt work

W0LFayame (Forza Support) Jan 10, 12:59 PM PST Hello, This problem is mostly occurring with users that have the Car Pass installed Locally on their PC, try removing these manually with the steps below. You may see results when also removing Bond and Formula Drift Packs as well. You will need to manually remove the Car pass cars and add-ons including Bond and Formula drift, ONLY KEEP FORTUNE ISLAND AND LEGO ADD-ONS on your PC. You will still have all the vehicles from the car pass accessible in game. There are two ways to achieve this, 1. Reinstall the Title with NO additional add-ons, Except Fortune Island and Lego. (You will still have access to all your purchased cars) 2. Manually Delete Car Pass cars and additional add-ons, NOT FORTUNE ISLAND OR LEGO EXPANSION. 1. Using Add or Remove programs you can select Forza Horizon. 2. Advanced options 3. Delete all items (Cars, Preorder items, VIP, etc.) everything, EXCEPT LEGO AND FORTUNE ISLAND. this is just so frustrating dont know how many hours spent on this . did the cracked game work?

WolfAyame doesn't know what he is talking about, every time I see a answer from him from other people it's always off the mark, or has nothing to do with the issue.
