Forza Horizon 4 won't launch

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.

Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

    My review is in the Microsoft store I have warned people not to purchase the ultimate edition as it's broken. My ticket is back open and now we wait, what a complete joke this is though

    yes i think you are right. Once people start putting reviews about the game online ,they may end up with even bigger problems. Reviews mm an idea i have already given a suitable review on a well known website,even though i didnt buy from them. We may yet have the last laugh. regards

    i keep info coming as i hear anything,still have one ticket open.

    I'm not sure maybe they are looking at it who knows lol, they are shooting themselves in the foot though with such a trivial issue

    think you are right ,but will we ever get to the bottom of it? if we can see the likely cause why cant the devs see it?

    Note the ExecutionPolicy bypass

    I have followed up on my original post with Forza and they now have the details of how a cracked version is working fine maybe they will take it into consideration and actually fix the issue now

    I have done all I can even risking a ban before even getting the official game working but it will be worth it if they can get it working for you guys, as I said I'm not all that interested in the online part any way but I'd still like to see the official version actually working
