Forza Horizon 4 won't launch

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.

Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

    I worked a lot on it as well. i really like the game, but... come on.... It's not my job to make their **** to work. FH3 gives the same fun for me. Not that nice like FH4, but the map and weather is way better. So I let them "work" and play something what doesn't gives me a brainfuck.

    sorry,i must be lucky but ive been doing this now for a month.we shouldnt have to fix there game ,it makes me angry.

    I think you have it dead right,we have reinstalled at least 100 times and it still dont work.You are correct i think they are waiting for us to give up.

    it has taken me a month now and tried every trick in the book. Until i thought of the demo ,maybe i am lucky but i hoped it might help others. it is still a lot of messing about to get it to run. maybe there is a small file that gets lost while downloading...i want to scream!!!! lol

    Forza Horizon 4 launching troubles should show up when the sport isn't well mounted for your PC, or positive recreation documents are corrupted or lacking. ... Then, proper-click Forza Horizon 4 and select Uninstall. 2) Click Uninstall. 4) Download and install Forza Horizon four from Microsoft Store.

    I think everyone here has already multiple reinstalls done, even complete deletions including registry & co as well as complete windows reinstalls. 

    This **** doesn't help. 

    The reason "missing files" from microsoft supporters is just an easy solution to get rid of people with annoying problems. They don't know **** and those who could find out whats wrong are most likely working on other projects already. 

    Nobody, neither microsoft nor Turn10 will take care of this issue. They will wait until people shut up and forget about it and then its time to release Forza Horizon 5 with the same **** all over again.
