Forza Horizon 4 won't launch

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.

Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

    No idea sorry I won't be buying an xbox either, I am just keeping myself occupied with streams and gaming lol

    And how long until series 20? Because im getting tired of waiting, and im not about to go out and buy an xbox just so i can play the game I own on pc.

    Yes, just had a meeting today with the boys in the UK

    looks like we have the fix waiting for after series 20, sorry, it will be a hotfix that will remedy this exact issue,
