Forza Horizon 4 won't launch

It ran great until I bought the Ultimate Add-Ons bundle, now it simply crashes after showing the splash screen for 30 seconds.

From the event viewer:

Edit 12/13/2019: After installing the latest update last night, the game seemed to start fine. I will continue to update this post with status.

Edit 12/14/2019: The game no longer starts.

Edit 12/28/2019: See user realcoda's post on page 5 for a solution. Be sure to back up everything on your PC before attempting as it involves editing your registry.

Edit 2/19/2020: The game runs after today's patch.

Edit 2/21/2020: Today's patch has reintroduced the original issue.

    I'm anxiously checking every day for a patch lol. I miss playing forza already but im happy they're working on a fix....just wish it happened before it blew up like it did

    I have just had a simular message from him too,he says they know about it and the team are working on a fix , asked for us to be patient and they will release a note on there support page when they have a patch.

    I hear ya, this is what we were trying to fix, please allow us time to fix this and hopefully have it out in the next patch,

    I couldn't agree more lol, I'll keep checking for the next hour or so then will have to get some sleep and hopefully wake up to a new patch/fix lol. With any luck future patches won't keep breaking the game
