New Windows 10 update making everything slow

So apparently Windows decided to automatically update itself while I was away from the PC. When I’m trying to log in, it takes ridiculously long (around 30-40 minutes). So I tried restarting, but startup is SUPER slow to the point that I’m stuck waiting for a black screen of death. Why is my PC slow after this recent update?

So sorry to hear that your having the same problems. The only way I was able to get my system back up and running to it's full potential was to wipe the HD and I made sure I installed every update prior to installing any other software. For me, this fixed it, but I am mad as **** and tired of having to do this every time Microsoft shoves an update down our throat! I know, I know, they mean well, but that doesn't fix the problem the end users are having. As I stated previously, after hours and hours of research, I just decided to wipe the drive. Sorry, but that's my suggestion to you. Every thing else failed for me and I also declared in the previous post I did manage to roll my machine back, but the damage was already done. What ever the updates are doing, it's so deep into the system and upon roll back, it does not revert that deep internal change.

I wish you the best with all your efforts, if you decide to try and figure it out and it works, plz, plz post here so we can all learn.

    Thank you

    Stay Safe.
