New Windows 10 update making everything slow

So apparently Windows decided to automatically update itself while I was away from the PC. When I’m trying to log in, it takes ridiculously long (around 30-40 minutes). So I tried restarting, but startup is SUPER slow to the point that I’m stuck waiting for a black screen of death. Why is my PC slow after this recent update?

    Hello,

John Babiasz here. What I've honestly discovered is to not install those Up-Dates. Seriously, I've had the same problems with these supposed

Up-Dates! I went and reinstalled Windows 10 and have been delaying the Up-Dates being installed. However, the settings can no longer be delayed. Meaning after today they will automatically be installed the next time I turn on my PC!! I cannot understand why Microsoft does not

    want to repair this issue!!

Hi Greg can you please repeat all of the above, but this time in English for us poor Aussies. To blow your argument I have just spent 4 bloody hours installing windows 10 on a Brand New Hard Drive, Lenovo Laptop, 1Tb HDD, 8gb RAM DDR3, i7 Intel Processor, 8th Gen.

I upgraded from Win 7 Ultimate and by Jingo my Win 7 moved a lot faster then Win 10. So perhaps we in Australia do not get the proper win 10 or something fishy is going on.

I previously had Win 10 on a PC running similar specs and I went back to Win 7 because I spent half my life waiting for Win 10 to download upgrades etc and the other half waiting to install them. No wonder I went back to Win 7 so at least I could do some work. Today I decided to give Win 10 another go, so purchased a Brand New HHD (What a waste of Money) and installed Win 10, this evening.  Looks like Nothing has changed, if anything it is a lot worse   Soooooooooooooo Slooooooooooooooow - NOT HAPPY JAN    You Guessed it looks like I will be going back to Windows 7 Ultimate on my Laptop and Sticking with WIN & Ultimate on my PC much to Microsoft's disappointment.

why windows 10 is very slow 2021?

,,, your "frequent updates" made windows 10 very slow instead of making the system efficient.

,,,  Microsoft should fix this problem in the next update!🤬

My problem is I would switch to linux (ubuntu) but need windows for various expensive bits of specialist software.

My solution might be get a second computer running Ubuntu and use a KVM switch to flick back to windows PC to run say . . . BREEZE AERMOD, and then back to Unbuntu for everything else.

I can't ebelive windows has turned in to such a poor product, you thought they would have learnt with Vista. People just want something stable they can use for productivity, with it changing all of the time.
