New Windows 10 update making everything slow

Windows 10 updates have become worse than the viruses they are meant to be stopping.

Does anybody test them? The 2020 updates have all been disastrous. What a joke.

Yes If You Are Update You Windows OS then it will be slow but is this essential because of security

1. Upgrade to SSD  
2. Download New Windows OS From Microsoft Website (Create an Installation Media or Download ISO file)

 and I suggest you download a new os image from Microsoft

Update: I still can’t do these. Now, the problem is that I can’t even get out of the lock menu. The date is backwards, its laggy, and it kicks me out of the login screen for taking long. Sometimes it will even freeze with a background or it just goes black.

This is the first you mentioned the hard drive is failing. Your post was about Windows Updates slowing Windows, but if you have a failing HDD then that should have been checked first and replaced which would have solved the problem.

Even if the drive isn't failing I'd still do the Clean install above because on most older PC's that particular Clean Install will make it as fast as a new PC which comes loaded with all the bloatware that slows it. I keep older laptops running 10 years faster than brand new ones with much better specs. As with everything in Windows 10, it's all about the install.
