Hello
I am sorry to say, that the only way I was able to fix my system was to wipe it clean and install all updates before installing anything else, now this was approx. 2 - 3 updates back. For me, I have had to do this already with each major update. I have searched and searched and tried this and tried that, all to no avail. The only way I have been able to get my system back on track was to wipe it clean and as I already stated, did a fresh complete install. Each time I figured the amount of time I wasted trying to fix this issue, I could have reinstalled everything twice.
This last time the 20H2, I was able to uninstall it and my previous install before 20H2 came back. With this 20H2 my main system that I'm running as an editing setup with 3 Rigs, the only system it did this to was my main rig, this ASRock MB is having major issues locking up. I didn't have such an issue before the last two updates. Now my system is locking up as it's loading. New issue for me, previously, it had slowed my main rig so much, that it literally took 30 min. to log in, then talk about none responsive and when I say 30 min. I am serious about that. I took out my stop watch and literally timed it.
This is when I finally dumped it, installed complete OS before all other software and my system came back to me. I wish I could find, the fix, but in all the time I have spent, I'm over wasting my time. I was about to dump it again, when I decided to try to uninstall it and to my surprise, it all came back. Now I had tried this before, uninstalling the update, it did come out, but previously the speed never came back and this time it did. I uninstalled 20H2 and it all came back alive. May I suggest, that if you already don't have one, setup your system(s) to back up to an internal or external hard drive, so that you may always restore to a previous installation. Also, keep all the update files in place until your satisfied the update didn't ruin your system(s). Good Luck!
Please, if you find a fix, share with us, we all need help with these issues, I'm sorry to say, Microsoft has failed me, when it comes to a fix from Microsoft. If I had extra cash, I would switch to Apple Computers. I have never been so disappointed in the Microsoft OS, until they started this OS platform.
Thank You
