hi there:
I don't know how to help you since I do not have that issue before. But you can try creating a new user account or scan your system for corrupted files. Please give it a try.

hi there:
I never knew that this is a bug affecting this issue. I haven't been faced with this issue yet. Have you gone to the feedback hub and search to see if anyone sent a feedback regards to this issue? If there isn't any feedback regards to this issue, that means it might not be a bug.
I just got this fixed on my end, have had the 255% issue for a couple of days now.
Hope it helps.
@Coleman0708 the original post is about 255% showing when a battery is not inserted. Try removing it and you will see that the "255% available" will (most likely) appear.
hi there, i really don't know. even if i attached my battery the display still has an x.
i tried steps like turning off the laptop and detached the battery. and press the power button for 30-60 secs. and then boot the laptop again. uninstall the driver, update the driver again but the message says i have the best driver for my battery. the x has disappeared when i tried to attached the battery while it is running. and it change the message to 0% available plugged in. but there still the orange blinking light.
