    He can download the windows update tool and update it himself. Doesn't need to wait for windows update.

    The answer has bee previously posted. There is nothing you can do (in my experience) until you get the Windows May 2020 update, which they roll out whenever. It's a pain.

    I have already replaced the battery, this is not the fault, it's a confirmed software issue.

    The simple answer is you need a new battery. When we had a circuit outage, my laptop was plugged in and got shocked after that.

    This is solved by the Windows 10 2004 update, whenever they decide to give it to you.
