Do you think your battery might suffer from permanent damage? Like you constantly charged it overnight for a long time? My laptop's battery is suffering from the same behaviors (255%) and I already know my issue and I have to replace the battery before it swells up.

Had to replace the motherboard.  I tried everything else up to that point. Problem has now gone away.

Did you ever get help? I've encountered the same issue and it's frustrating because the pc is slow.

Having explored all avenues re this issue, I sent my laptop to the manufacturer for diagnostic. Turns out my motherboard had developed a fault. This has now been replaced and the problem has now been resolved.
