Hi, I have same issue. My battery is not attached but the battery icon in the system tray shows 255% available(plugged in) that was after i uninstall the battery from the device manager and reboot it. But nothing changes. What should I do?  Is this an issue or normal?

I finally updated to version 2004 and the "255% available" bug is gone. It now correctly says that no battery is detected.

Glad this worked for you. Now we need a fix for those on other laptops.
