Wireless bluetooth earphones keep disconnecting...

I bought Realme buds wireless bluetooth earbuds recently. I started using them with my phone and it worked just fine. But when I used it with my laptop (Asus FX570UD) it works for sometime and then automatically disconnects and the same problem persists when I reconnect it again. I tried troubleshooting but it is of no use. I need help with why it keeps disconnecting frequently??

no, it didn't work for me. because when you uninstall Bluetooth driver , windows automatically install a new one.

Windows will do that automatically as when you uninstall in the device manager, the driver has not been removed from the root. I faced a similar problem as Realtek driver used to reinstall after rebooting. So used a third part utility to uninstall: https://www.driverscape.com/download.

Driverscape utility worked for me to uninstall the system Realtek bluetooth driver from root. After I rebooted, windows installed the Microsoft Generic bluetooth adapter, which works perfectly with realme buds wireless. Try this method to uninstall and let me know if it worked for you.

    windows not gonna install old version.  even though you somehow install it it got back to latest one within 1 day.

    I have figured out that the root cause is the Asus Bluetooth driver(in my case its realtek driver). When we uninstall it and use the generic microsoft bluetooth driver, the disconnecting problem stops till windows automatically upgrades the latest driver again. Also I have tried changing the OS on the same Asus laptop to Ubuntu(by using pendrive boot), and the disconnecting problem is not present when using Ubuntu. So clearly the Asus Windows bluetooth driver is the culprit.

    Now in this case Realme cannot do anything. Only Asus can help us by releasing updated driver without this bug with Realme buds wireless disconnecting frequently. So I suggest everyone reading this post should tag ASUS on twitter(the global handle) and report this issue and demand a quick driver update with bug fixes. Do put the link to this thread in your tweet and your laptop model number. Collectively when everyone of us tweets out the same issue, ASUS will take note of this and come up with a driver update. So folks, please tweet this to ASUS as soon as possible, driver update is the only long term solution!!
