I have not had this problem since the update to new EDGE.

Thank you for your feedback.  I was advised to switch to the new edge chromium. It`s too early to know yet whether this has solved the issue but PC already working better.

I’m using the original version of edge, so thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try.

What browser are you using ?   I updated to Microsoft Edge (Chromium version) and have not had this problem since January 15th. I too was getting multiple BITDEFENDER warnings each day. Then no more ! The old Microsoft Edge browser is a very poor browser...... update now or wait till Microsoft updates it for you. 

This new Chrome-based version is much much better than the old Edge.

I too have received this notification being blocked (markets.books.microsoft.co) via Bitdefinder. I recently review my window search history to notice searches that were not mine for location and places in Switzerland and other foreign countries which I've never have searched or have an interest. 

On two recent occasions my pointer stop working then took on a mind of its own no sooner than I received the" market.book" notification from bitdefinder as if I had been hacked. I immediately disconnected from wi-fi and the cursor kept jumping around opening and closing apps which I proceeded to power down my laptop.

Things I did to secure my router:

* Changed my password from the standard default that way even if the service provider needed to asscess my modem, I would have to provide access.

*Ran in-depth virus scan with no issues found 

*Turn off my webcam & Mic access.

Yet, last night I received the markets.books.microsoft.co notification from bitdefinder that an a attempt occurred and no sooner my cursor started glitching then jumping around the screen. 

Either a employee is taking advantage of your customer base via your network or a hacker is using this link (markets.books.microsoft.com.); to mask itself as a Trojan horse to run havoc on unsuspecting Microsoft customer. 

If this continues without you guys taking serious issue with this backdoor hack, I'll have no choice than to switch to a Mac operating system. This will be a hugh expense with the device replacements, but to lessen my exposure to hackers, this my be well worth the worry & hassle.
