Thank you! I've been trying to remove my 6 year olds account forever!!!!
No "Remove" button for Microsoft account in Windows 10 settings? SOLVED
Hi all,
I wanted to share this in case anyone else was having the same frustrating problem. I had a personal Microsoft account that I had mistakenly signed into on a work PC. To remove it, I followed the steps to go to Settings >> Email & Accounts, then select the account and click "Remove". Well, I got there, and there was no "Remove" button! Only a "Manage" button appeared.
The "Your info" page probably also looks like this
If you are having this problem, look for a text link on the "Your info" page that says something like "Stop signing in to all Microsoft apps automatically". Click on that text.
"Your info" should now say "Local Account" instead of your email
Go back to the "Email & accounts" page and you should now be able to remove the account
Hope this helps someone.

2021-02-10T02:49:10+00:00 This was the trick for me. The "Remove" button didn't show up on my Son's computer until I removed his Microsoft account from our Family Group. Then I could remove the association between his local account and his Microsoft account.

2021-01-23T07:36:54+00:00 I read through this SOLVED thread completely. Nothing recommended worked. The local (built-in) Administrator account is attached to Microsoft Account and [Remove] button does not appear. There is no "Stop signing in..." text anywhere. I am confident that without a registry hack there is no way to fix this major annoyance. The deliberate blocking of the (built-in) Administrator account from [Settings] [Accounts] [Family & other users] for security reasons has made this problem acute. Thanks for all your help.
