So basically, since it is now possible to crossplay with PS4 and all other Bedrock platforms, my friend on PS4 got really excited, and wanted to try it out with me (I am on Windows 10 Edition). So he did what he was suppost to, created a microsoft account, linked it, added me as a friend, I accepted. All that went really well.
After he created a world that had multiplayer on, I could see him in the "Friends" tab, 1/8 players on the server. I tried to click it and join. It was loading for a bit. It said "Connecting to Multiplayer" or something like that, and after a while, "Can't connect to world".
Any help?

Hi i see that everyone had the same problem but for me it was the internett so what i did was to take an internet cable plug it up to the wall where the internett cables where and then you change your ps4 internett over to the cable and then try again. I think it has something to do with each individual connection to the internett. If you dont understand just ask me. cause i am not the best to explain.
I've been having the same problem. Trying to connect to my friend's world, (we both play on PS4), and either it says "Cannot connect to world" or "Connection timed out". We play on separate internet both of which are fairly reliable. We have also encountered other super annoying bugs on the latest update such as our world crashing numerous times and then the save getting corrupted, lots of lag and graphical bugs. We think that Microsoft is intentionally sabotaging the PS4 version of Minecraft because of their lack of urgency to fix any of these issues. If anyone finds a solution to the world connection problem please let me know.

I legit have been reading all the posts in this thread, it feels as if i was in reddit. Only that reddot has actual solutions, its not the fault of anyone here, in fact i blame microsoft for not doing anything about this matter for almost 3 months. Im not the one having the problems when people join, mostly amyone can join exept one guy who was literally my partner during the creation of my whole minecraft world. It truly saddens me to not be able to play with him. I believe the reason for this is behond his NAT type but still, the older version worked fine until this update ruined it. Please do something.
