Can't connect to the Minecraft world of my friend on PS4

So basically, since it is now possible to crossplay with PS4 and all other Bedrock platforms, my friend on PS4 got really excited, and wanted to try it out with me (I am on Windows 10 Edition). So he did what he was suppost to, created a microsoft account, linked it, added me as a friend, I accepted. All that went really well.

After he created a world that had multiplayer on, I could see him in the "Friends" tab, 1/8 players on the server. I tried to click it and join. It was loading for a bit. It said "Connecting to Multiplayer" or something like that, and after a while, "Can't connect to world".

Any help?

    Hey there, x WowBobWow x

    Type to means it is Moderate. This may be one of the reasons why you are unable to connect. 

    On a computer, please can you:

    1. Press start Key & R togehter,
    2. Type "CMD" and press enter,
    3. Type: ipconfig and press enter,
    4. Open a web browser,
    5. Type your gateway IP address into it (for example: 192.168.0.0) - This will direct you to your router's settings,
    6. You should see an option to change your NAT Settings in Connectivity.

    Please change your NAT Type and see if your friend can join you.

    NAT type 2 is the best you can get without risking your home network's security. Therefore I do NOT suggest ANYONE to change it to NAT type 1.

    I am on playstation 4 and my friend is on playstation 4 and every time i try to join his world or every time he trys to join my world it says "unable to connect to world" and we boath have playstation plus and a good internet connection so what do i do.  Please someone help

    When I try to get into my friends world, it says locating server, and it stays like that forever.

    Then can get in my worlds, but I can’t get in theirs.

    Remembering this is Ps4 to Ps4

    does anyone knows what I can do?

    I'm having this same problem with me on pc and her on ps4. She can't join my worlds and I can't join her's. It says "Connecting to multiplayer" then it says "cannot connect to world"

    Idk if this is happening to anyone else. But me and my friend both have New Minecraft loaded up on our PS4’s. We also both have our microsoft accounts linked. I invited him to my game. My game gives me a notification that he joined but i cant see him. He says he can see me on his map but doesnt see me physically. He says he cant see my house either. Idk whats happeninng.
