Hello, I’ve tested in two different machines and confirmed that after the “feature update to windows 10 version 1909 via enablement package (KB4517245)” it’s no longer possible to copy-paste to the search box present in folders (upper right corner) using the mouse, the right click is completely disabled.
For now I’ve removed the (KB4517245)…
I have the KB4524570 CU Windows 10 v1903 build 18362.476 the problem only happens after the installation of the (KB4517245). With the build 18362.476 everything works perfect.
This has to be a windows bug.

My problem is different.. already upgraded to very latest version of Win 10 on ver 1909.
But my PC slowing so when i try to uninstall the securitys windows update there is error , you cannot uninstall it... How i can remove it ??? .. am stucked now and my pc keeping hanging.
I have the same problem with this update along with the other two updates n 2/7/2020.
The Windows Explorer will take forever to do anything when I open up it. I have to use the Task Manager to RESTART it. Then my systems starts get into memory leak and I am not able to open up any WORD document --- all of the graphics disappears and I am not able to even open up TEXT FILES.
I have been having issues with WINDOWS 10 PRO since I got this laptop when WORD is open and I have a large file, it says I am not able to save because it is out of memory. But I have 16 GB RAM and it shows I have enough memory. What I am thinking Word has it's own memory space and it there is NO MALLOC to recover the memory cache. Very poor design on Windows. But it happened less often, but with this update it was worst. I did not even have to open any WORD document, I get the memory leak and the GRAPHICS disappears. I HATE WINDOW 10 - very poor and NOT a Multi-Tasking Operating system at all.
I also notice when I copy things to an external disk and I if I have done a lot of it. I get memory leaks again. There are major bugs with the Windows Explorer for sure.
Doesn't anyone test this at all before it is released? For the last 19 years I worked in Software QA Engineering for CyberSecurity, Cloud and other enterprise software and we have extensive performance testing for stress and users.
I really do not like to be forced to do updates on dangerous bug updates, I no longer have a choice. I will now block all updates for now on. But I least I have the driver are up to date.
I wish I had Windows 7 still and Windows XP were the most stable.

I notice file search problems, but do not use that function to much and don't care to find a fix, but after the 1909 update I was having very big problems using explorer through office automation (GetOpenFileNameA API) which need nearly three minutes to find any file in a folder...
Now, after the update you say, everything seems to work right again.

Cannot believe they want to wait on this. Like why wait until someone screams? That's such bad practice. I have three users on this version of windows 10 and they want to pull their hair out because the search option is like breathing. I don't blame them when they have to search through a bunch of job number folders - part of their job for packets to customers. I take pride in staying "We use the most current up-to-date version of Windows 10 with a month hold..." And yet Microsoft slaps us in the face.
