Zune software in 2019

My grandson managed to make Zune function on my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop and give me ready access to the 150 albums that I had on the program, but I have no idea how he did it. I have not tried to add any new albums to Zune since he installed it.  I know he recovered some program files from somewhere and transferred them to my computer.  I play the Zune music almost every day.  At this point he does not recall what files he got and where he got them from.  As I recall the process took him about an hour or so most of which was  spent looking around the internet.

Hey guys, followed all steps but once it installs and asks to launch. It just closes and reports to microsoft. Any idea?

I think I found the correct installer file, but when I run it it just hangs once the install process begins (as shown in the screenshot I attached).  I feel like they made some changes in the latest version of Windows 10 and now the Zune software is no longer compatible with it.

I have the installer file on my PC, but now I cannot remember what site I downloaded it from.  The file is called ZunePackage.exe and has a size of 276,992 KB.  I'd share it with you, but not sure how I'd send a file that large.

Thank you! I had to reset my PC a couple days ago, and thank God I was able to use the type of reset that keeps my files. I found ZunePackage.exe on my machine and set it right back up.

I found my old Zune player and I want to update the songs.  I found the Zune under the hidden devices and updated it.  I still can't access it.  MediaEspresso is the only thing that recognizes it but I can't do anything with the Zune within MediaEspresso.  Can you help with accessing the Zune in Windows 10?  I have a 64 bit computer running an Intel i5.
