Ever since I updated to Windows 10 1909 the Search Box in the File Explorer is completely unuseable. It shows a text cursor but I cannot click inside the box or type any text into it. Essentially it's a text box with no "wiring".
Any ideas how to resolve this issue? I'm having to resort to using a third-party search app just to find files in my projects.

well like the rest of you here, I have the same issue and we have been beating our collective heads on a wall for a bit now. Well, perhaps this article helps to explain the msft lag... check it. just today
Microsoft discloses security breach of customer support database
Five servers storing customer support analytics were accidentally exposed online in December 2019.
Maybe they still don´t know how ☺.
Also on update 1909 here. This is ridiculous and embarrassing for MSFT. Can't believe it hasn't been fixed yet after 2 months.
Karen, go to your Profile and click "Edit." Then uncheck the box "Receive Email Notifications." You will stop receiving notices of responses.
I want to STOP receiving all these responses. It's annoying.
