Unable to load DLL iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll

Hi there,

My problem is small popup window which appears in right bottom corner of the screen each time when I am launching windows explorer.

Would you please advise me how to eliminate the above described problem?

    Hi Margaret.. You could try this..from Wood0440 -29Oct.. page 3..

    .The solution is much simpler than all of this:

    .

    In the settings (control panel) under Apps & Features, select the Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions and click "modify".

    This will prompt the app to reinstall itself and solve the problem.  Restart required.

    .

    Or check later pages for other options.

    My issue is not yet resolved.. - Good Luck.

    I've updated my progress, or lack thereof, on my last post/previous page.. but thought I should add it here..as a point of reference...

    Update - 25March.. Still no luck. I've tried every suggestion previously made, including the Intel Process on their site through Device Manager/Software components to Pinning Shell to Step 4 to Uninstall -which it didn't. Went back to Device Manager and it was gone. It appears in my app settings. I went to Intel's site to check my system which said it had an update for Intel Rapid Storage, which I tried to run again, a popup asking to use IAStorUI, clicked Yes .. but was interrupted...again., with same response as before...".Click OK or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "ShellPackage.msi". Use source C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\IIFE004.tmp. 

    Somethings missing somewhere in Windows.? - Can't find their that there.

    Odd, I think, that when I go to the Intel site, and searched for Intel Pinning Shell... nothing comes up..?? 

    Anyway.. I can't figure it out. 

    I guess I'll have to try and reach Intel...

    1. Open Programs and Features
    2. Locate the Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions program in the list.

    3) Highlight it.

    4) Click Repair
