Screensaver is not working after Windows update to 1903.

I have tried setting DISPLAY, SCREEN and all the other settings to enable the screensaver to come on at the set time but nothing happens? I have to close the lid when I leave my laptop alone for awhile

    Followed these steps, didn't resolve the failing screensaver activation issue.

    Same here. Screensaver works fine; update to 1903 on 11 October 2019, screensaver fails to kick in. The only change was MS's update.  MS broke the screensaver.  QED.

    Same problem. Also Nvidia graphic card, up to date. Checking the "On resume, Display Logon Screen" option does not fix this. All had been working fine until 1903 update.
