Gaathan, there is no guarantee that doing a system reset and reinstalling Windows 10 Version 1903 will correct this problem. A lot of people may go through this unnecessary procedure with no benefit.

I upgraded to windows 10 version 1903 a few weeks ago. Shortly afterwards I noticed that my fans were running extremely fast and my CPU temps per core were running in the mid 50s C at system idle. Previously they were running in the mid to high 30s C. Task Manager shows my CPU usage at 100%. I get things back to normal if I disable the Power service, but as soon as I enable it again, my fans begin to race and the temps go up. My system uses an ASRock motherboard with an Intel i7-8700k and an 8500 watt power supply. I use the Balanced power setting profile. Diagnostics for Power doesn't pick up anything and I can't find anything with Google for anyone with a similar problem. I had a similar issue a couple of years back, but it was caused by me using the High Performance power profile. Once I changed to the Balanced profile the problem disappeared. This time, the problem is occurring with the Balanced power setting. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

It would take me much longer than that because of the large amount of software I have installed on my system and I am using an SSD with an Intel i7-8700k and 16MB of DDR4. Reinstalling software is user intensive, not hardware intensive.

Richard - I understand that - there is no guarantee on anything these days - many people have emailed me stating it worked fine - there are also others that do this and it worked for them - Mine is just an option which worked on 4 of my PC's. You have to take into consideration all the factors that individuals have on there computers - you do not have to do anything and wait - however when Temps are reaching a high state and fans are running faster than they should it needs to be corrected - those that have personally emailed me stated it worked for them - please understand this and rather than stating I am wrong

Again we seem to not agree - I am no longer going to respond to your comments as no matter what I say you seem to just bash it - also telling me often what system you have has no bearing on your comments - again my responses are suggestions and it might not work for everyone - those that is helped great - those that it did nothing for I understand - as sor theSetJ it did work for him and yes he had a lot of installing but he did not complain about that! Just work with people rather than bashing them - this is my last comment to you

I hate to bash anyone in a forum, but I am very concerned about your suggestions to readers of my thread. I know what it is like to have to re-install Windows 10 with a clean install. I regularly perform clean installs on my systems since I am constantly upgrading the hardware. No need for you to reply.
