I've done the resetting. It took 2 complete days for me to re-install all the software I had installed and returned to my state before resetting. However, it did nothing good, the issue persists. It's better
to wait for a patch instead of doing a reset and see nothing changed.
Hey there The SETJ, it took you 2 days to reinstall all your software, etc. WOW sorry to hear that - what are you using as your hard drive(s) SSD, or HDD's most computers bought within the last year or 2 are using the faster trouble free SSD's. They are
so much easier to work with and so much faster. There is nothing wrong with HDD drives but they are pretty slow in today's technological world.
Wait for Microsoft to have a patch for all these issues and in the meantime you can always go into your Task Manager to see what processes are running - there are many tabs in this program - Processes, Performance, App history, Startup, Users, Details and
Services. It will default to the first tab - Processes, this section shows a percentage of your CPU usage. You can always right click on a program and end the task - just be aware of and make sure you know that program you are about to end.
Now the other tab I would look at is Startup - this will show you all the programs that start up when you turn on your computer - many of them are not necessary to start up and are using resources that will slow your performance
Hope this helps
