Like the title says, it says ethernet unidentified and then unplugged all within 2 seconds and it keeps happening again, and again, I can fix this by going to adapter properties then qos packet scheduler - > configure - > advanced and change speed & duplex to 10mbps half or full. However when I do this it remains constant unidentified network and I cannot access the Internet. Was most likely after an update and I have no system restore and uninstalling the update tells me undoing changes. Please help. Thanks. PS after I do the qos packet scheduler thing and use the troubleshooter it says ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration. I've watched tens of hundreds of videos to fix this problem yet it remains unfixed. Please help thank you.

Click System summary
Look in the right pane

You might want to try resetting the BIOS defaults.

If that does not work and you have a desktop computer...
Power down
Unplug it
Open the system unit
Remove the CMOS CR-2032 chip
Plug it in, start the machine, wait 10 seconds
Power down, unplug it, reinstall the CMOS CR-2032 chip
Plug it in again, power up

2019-09-25T17:21:03+00:00 I ended up reinstalling windows 10 from scratch and deleting all partitions. And it's still not working. I've tried this computer on a different connection with ethernet and it works. I've also tried the ethernet at home with my laptop and it works. Why isn't it working with ethernet at home?
