Services and Controller app Random High CPU usage.

I had the same issue.

"Service and app controller app" was at 95% usage.

For me the problem was a program names "Segurazo" i uinstalled it and now my computer is normal.

The way i found out was when i were going to perform a clean boot startup.

i open "System Configuration" then went to "Services" Hid all Microsoft services. but the Segurazo service would`t be disabled. so i uinstalled it and then it worked.

When i look on task manager, I will sometimes see Services and Controller app using around 30-40% CPU sometimes when i am playing games, this happens and total cpu usage goes to 100%, and it seems to make my voice call sound weird.

For some context, this always happens on start-up and then at random times. I use a laptop.

Is there anyway to fix this? and if not fixable what is the Services and Controller app process doing?

Hey everyone, for me this appears to be caused by the 'Diagnostic Policy Service' (aka DPS) - Stop and Disable this Service, and the CPU spin ups should fade away. I have a Lenovo Yoga 920 and the thing doesn't have much of a good ventilation system, so every 30-60 seconds the fans would spin up and run for a prolonged duration making the thing sound like it was about to take flight!

Stopping this Service has now meant that my laptop is running smoother at a consistent 5-10% CPU and not overheating or using VERY HIGH Power Usage via the ominous Services and Controller app. It is also no longer spinning up the fans for take off.

Note that you need to "Disable" the service, otherwise it will start again before long and the problem start over.
