Excellent solution! If I got of of the HABBIT of using dirty google, i can escape the clutches of "couldn't care less" Microsoft. We need a tidal wave of users to choose Linux!
Issues with 5.1 Surround Sound with Windows 10
I can not get 5.1 Surround Sound to play for my computer with any audio player; i.e. DVD/CD optical drive, Pandora, etc. but when I run an audio test using the device manager it tests perfectly. I have heard that there might be a compatibility issue with 5.1/7.1 Surround Sound and Windows 10.
Please let me know if anybody has had this problem and what the solution is.

2020-09-25T12:45:44+00:00 Most of us complaining is from NOT EVEN BEING ABLE to INSTALL something like an ASUS 5.1 Sound card. No browsers here. We run the driver install process and at the end of it Windows 10 say's "good Job" on installing your new Stereo system. Then you go to test, the dialog box shows a 5 speaker layout, however, though the graphic shows 5 speakers emitting sound, only the left & right speaker makes a sound, no browser here. Oh, lets not forget the totally silly sound analyzer with the cartoon girl picture. What a totally useless piece of **** code I've ever seen. I could write a small book on Windows 10 and it's compound failures! In 7 years of Windows 7 I may have had 3 blue screens! What happened to the ghostly Windows 8 and all the wasted money on that Turkey!

2020-09-25T12:51:23+00:00 If the Speaker test worked or anything else with the INSTALL process worked i wouldn't be writing? Perhaps you should understand the problem before producing a bogus "solution wanna be"! literally 100's of other disgruntled users do?
