Switching out of S mode : Blank screen

I'm having the same issue, called MS support, no fix, no luck. Don't buy laptops with Windows S.

As of this entry (9:30am on 7/31) I am having this issue on a Lenovo 130S-11IGM that I purchased and received yesterday.  This thread is the only ounce of hope I was able to find online in regards to this issue.  Any update from Microsoft?

I just bought my laptop on Amazon and am about to send it back as it is completely useless being locked in thise mode. If Microsoft really wanted to they could find a way to make it work asap.

Whenever I open the Microsoft store to switch out of S-mode. A Button reading "learn more" appears, however whenever I click this the store loads a completely blank gray screen, is there another option to switch out of S-mode, or is the link to the store broken?

I received my brand new Acer Aspire from Amazon yesterday. I was so excited to have a computer again after one of my 4 Rottweilers, who have the grace of a refrigerator rolling down a steep hill, bumped into my coffee table, knocking my previous laptop to the floor and breaking the screen. I, like many others, work from home and was so excited to be able to catch up. After about 10 minutes of setting my beautiful new machine up, my happy bubble burst because I can get nothing done due to S Mode. I am feeling so frustrated that I can't get it to go away. I have reset the computer multiple times, tried different suggestions/fixes, followed instructions and once I get to "switch to Windows," I am directed to the windows store, which gives me a blank screen. Every other screen in the store works. I am not a computer savvy person. I don't know what my other options are other than Windows and Apple products. I feel very stuck and without choices and it's a really awful feeling.
