KB4516065 Installation Fails with Error 80092004

This is the only patch that is getting an error at installation. I've tried update troubleshooter, standalone install and clearing Software Distribution folder without success. Are others having this issue?

Had the same problem. What fixed it was to download these two KBnnnnnn patches from the Windows Update Catalog.

KB4490628  (make sure this one gets installed successfully first)

KB4516065

    I had been considering that option but wanted to make sure I was up to date on 7 first but,

    I went ahead and rolled the dice anyway and guess what?

    10 would not install resulting in an error which, I have researched only to find out is due to... this update.

    That is weird.

    Never the less I would first try to uninstall KB4490628, reboot and reinstall it and then install KB4516065

    If that fails, try to use the DISM method as described here https://www.sysnative.com/forums/threads/kb4338818-failed-with-code-8024200d.25854/#post-227429 with another package.

    FYI KB4490628 replaces KB3177467 and KB3177467. It might be that something from theese 2 is missing.

    Also the KB4490628 had some problems during installation https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4490628/servicing-stack-update-for-windows-7-sp1-and-windows-server-2008-r2

    I would first try to uninstall KB4490628

    There is no back and forth installing of a Servicing Stack Update.
