KB4516065 Installation Fails with Error 80092004

This is the only patch that is getting an error at installation. I've tried update troubleshooter, standalone install and clearing Software Distribution folder without success. Are others having this issue?

Had the same problem. What fixed it was to download these two KBnnnnnn patches from the Windows Update Catalog.

KB4490628  (make sure this one gets installed successfully first)

KB4516065

    I’ll try that right now. I just thought that you needed to use the microsoft IE (or used to use that browser) in order to access that update catalogue download page.

    Just use Chrome or any other browser. The only thing you have to turn off is the popup blocker.

    IE uses ActiveX components to put files in to a queue and then it downloads them from there.

    If you have ActiveX disabled, then it won't work.
