After win 10 update, sticky notes now uses a separate taskbar tab for each note. Before update, all notes were in one tab.

***Title Modified Original: sticky notes***

Not just not as classy. I used to put sticky notes at various locations on the screen and also make some larger to get my attention. Cannot do this with the notes list.

If you use the 'combine icons' setting you lose the icon titles. It makes the taskbar items confusing.

Same here.  Individual tabs for sticky notes makes task bar useless.  Might as well just use Notepad like I used to.  :(

I discovered Notes List, hope this helps until the actual fix:

    >Right click on any sticky notes tab

    >Click Notes List - Here, a new tab will appear that lists all you sticky notes

This only takes up one tab in the task bar.

    >You can proceed on closing all other sticky notes tabs.

Please back-up your notes first. I will not be responsible if you lose them.

I've been using the Notes List but it's not the same. With individual notes you can place them in various spots on the monitor and change sizes to get your attention. Not a good substitute as far as I'm concerned.
