After win 10 update, sticky notes now uses a separate taskbar tab for each note. Before update, all notes were in one tab.

***Title Modified Original: sticky notes***

I gave up and moved to using the MS To Do web app. Alternatively OneNote might be a good replacement. We're slaves to MS at this point...

my company computer got the Windows updated recently and i found this sticky note issue.

and WOW, there is no solution for this issue??

i found myself the same with many people here.

i have many stickies and i don't like tab combining for all other apps.

i want those stickies to appear only with one click on the tab.

why Microsoft aren't they hear us????

    Dear Microsoft,

Kindly request to revert this change back as it is really annoying decision to completely occupy the entire toolbar with a lot of sticky notes icons. I hope you realize with this change you just added, you just ended the use of this application and you throw away it to trash.

I already stopped using it long time ago when you introduced this annoying behavior, I switched to notepad++ plain text files but I miss sticky notes.

Please listen to many users and leave only one icon active in the toolbar.

    Thank you.

We don't work for MS. We're normal users like you.

I'd recommend you to submit the bug report through the Feedback Hub app in your Windows device, if the issue persists even after you did all the troubleshooting.

Not a bad idea but I don't think it's a bug. It looks like a deliberate change. There have been many complaints about the problem but Microsoft isn't really sensitive to the needs of their customers. I understand that Win 11 doesn't fix the problem and may cause unfavorable issues with the start screen icons. Have to wait to find out.
