After win 10 update, sticky notes now uses a separate taskbar tab for each note. Before update, all notes were in one tab.

***Title Modified Original: sticky notes***

Same issue here in May 2021, after update to W10 build 1909. Changing this after so many years of having it function a certain way is pretty frustrating. Having several taskbar tabs labeled "Sticky Notes" is very cluttery. It might make more sense if the bar name reflected a preview of the note contents, but even this it's still clunky. Now this app really only makes sense to use for those who only use taskbar grouping. The previous version worked for all. Please change it back!

    Yes, that is what's frustrating.

Exactly right. We already know we can hide the labels but many of us don't want to.

It's literally how it used to work... It's requesting a reversal.

I'm sorry but this is an absolutely nonsensical solution. You have suggested a complete change of layout settings of a main OS function to stopgap a single applet's malfunction. Not only does this not address the issue, it also patronises the user by further suggesting an article titled "How to use the taskbar".

Further, the suggested stopgap erroneously fosters the impression that this issue has a solution, and as a result the sticky note applet still maintains this ridiculous design choice in 2021, years after its first occurrence.

    Utterly disingenious proposal.
