Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    I understand where you're coming from, I feel frustrated with software developers. Their unique way of thinking seems to inhibit them from accepting constructive feedback and suggestions from non-technical people. Even implementing straightforward features like text-boxing seems to be a daunting task for them, which raises questions about their receptive attitude.

    My experience of spending four years working closely with developers on a single website project has made me realise they truly represent a distinct category. Their aloof behaviour and seeming lack of appreciation for layperson's perspectives makes collaborations very challenging to the point of frustration.

    True, but there are other factors that make developers ignore users, even those users who could almost do their job for them and let them publish it after vetting and testing.

    First, developers have their priorities and agenda set by managers who may not see the importance of adding a feature everyone wants when they have dozens of other urgent agenda items and bug fixes to schedule.

    Worse yet, Microsoft may not want to offend other snippet types of 3rd party developers by adding more and more features until MSFT makes their product offering of marginal value. So they may stonewall and hope those like us just go buy the 3rd party software.

    You will probably never see a software manager show up on these threads to address such issues.

    Just sayin'
