Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    to make this application more user friendly and useable a text box would really add to the value of this program.

    Use the old Snip & Sketch and go to Edit->Edit with Paint 3D
    You can add arrows and text there.
    Select what you need and copy

    Just because its not currently added, does not mean it shouldn't be seriously considered as a quality of life improvement on a tool that is used heavily for work. There are no excuses for this oversight.
