Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Just allow us to open the snip in MS PAINT by default, which allows all manner of circles, text, cropping etc. Having a separate tool to edit the image which is devoid of obvious features is pretty dumb, especially when MS PAINT has been a part of windows since what, Windows 95? Why was this not the most obvious choice from the beginning?

    I love Snip & Sketch and would also like to request the ability to either use "typewriter" or add a text box.
