Snip & Sketch add a text box

YES!  We need this simple option!

As an IT Professional - working on many Win 10 systems a day often requires a snip with a comment - for myself or the user.

The RULER in Snip & Sketch was a nice add (finally figured out how to rotate it with mouse button) but being able to add some text or simple circles and arrows would be SMART simple and NEEDED feature ... because now we need to hand draw circles and arrows .... or write with a mouse ... which looks armatureish or it requires us to copy and paste to another app.

We are not looking for a full on 'paint' program, just some helpful features to highlight snips.

My ask...

Simple circles, ovals and rectangles (with thickness, transparency/fill and color settings ... similar to pen and pencil now in the tool)

Simple Arrow

Simple Lines (to show 'connections')  

Simple text box - with transparency and border options (border color and thickness)

What is the most sensible explanation from Microsoft's to not include the text box utility in Snip & Sketch?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

To begin with Microsoft is sill for making something so useful un-useful obviously this kinda thing should be able to add text for when taking images and adding notes to them so simple, I was looking to add text to a reading so I can remember the subject line to my finding a disappointment. so sad in 2019 you have to get other applications just to add text.

My work-around is to grab the snip, do any 'manual' edits like circling something, then paste into Word and add defined elements like text boxes and arrows.  Not as slick as a text box in S&S but workable.  I can then re-snip.
