Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    I simply could not agree more.

    Brill... Snip... easy.... good stuff....

    Right... text comment... what?!??!!

    Search.....search.... surely not... I have to use the mouse! FFS!

    Brilliant.... if they are not careful they will end up like British Leyland Cars!

    AND

    to save stuff they have moved it to the top right!!!!

    Forever, save is on the Top LEFT!!!!! FOREVER!!!! FACE & PALM!!!

    Lets are honest, it beggars belief that it is not already included.

    Just get it sorted Windows... It's simple stuff.

    Incomprehensible to me that this wasn't a core feature. Like building an aeroplane with no seats. Cmon microsft get back to the basics before embarking on rocket science

    This new app is no improvement on the old one. 

    It doesn't need the ability to add "text boxes" , just the ability to ADD TEXT which is some seriously basic stuff that was missing from the first incompetent version of this app.
