Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Why would  a design team completely omit the ability to input text in a feature such as Snip & Sketch. 

    Where it is utilized to capture/ covey  information. quite possibly needing notation....

    Let hope a little more effort can be dedicated to an otherwise useful utility

    WE REALLY NEED THIS !!  How else can one annotate what they snip to document what is going on.  Sorry finger drag is not the answer.

    Yes,  SnagIt is absolutely the better app.  It has many additional components, also.

    It is very strange that this program lacks such basic functionality.   SnagIt is a dream compared to this.
