Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Oh wait.  Here is a better idea.  How about you pick up your assumed MSFT office phone and call the guys responsible and tell them to take a look at all these requests and complaints for lack of this feature (as opposed to all of us going somewhere else and asking again).

    I have used Snagit before.  If it were free, I'd use it again.  I paid for it once, but it was made obsolete by a Windows Update or a Windows Crash at some point.

    This feature is very BASIC and has been missing for a long time in Snipping tool.

    We were disappointed to learn that it wasn't naturally added to the new Snip & Sketch.

    We always have to settle for a lousy text drawing or have to copy/paste to paint that allows adding text, which is of course a pain.

    Are there any plans on adding this very trivial feature ?

    This feature will make this tool just perfect.
