Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    this snip tool is a great and easy tool to use but the added text feature would make snips instantly look and feel more professional. This would be great instead of having to open a different program just so my snips don't look like they were submitted with my kindergarteners homework.

    Please do add this! I used Jing before, but i started using this tool in windows only to find out i can't add text. So I went back to using Jing. Seriously, who does your user-market-research? This is like the most important feature in any screenshot program! Nobody thought of adding it?
