Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    Most basic of inputs - we need to be able to add text! How is this not in the first version of this app is a mystery!

    You are right, it is very busy. 

    Did you try Faststone Capture? $20 for a lifetime license.

    I think we need to accept the fact that Microsoft is NOT going to implement this. I've been following it for two years. Time to forget it
